ILLVA’S FUTURE: PROJECT WITH UNIVERSITIES DEDICATED TO CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY PROJECTS CONTINUES

ILLVA’s Future, which got started at the beginning of the year, is a project involving Illva Saronno Holding and universities in a series of events dedicated to sustainability and the empowerment of young talent.

The first of these projects, which will see the participation of the talented students of the 24 Ore Business School MBA Master course, is about the development of a comprehensive plan for a sustainable business with specific focus on our spirits brands. We thus closely followed the various stages of this project work, involving master’s students and gathering their impressions.

In the first video interviews collected at the end of the day’s visit and briefing in the company, the students of the Master MBA of 24 Ore Business School told about their expectations and the importance of accepting a concrete challenge with determination.
The second part of the interviews was collected at the handover: in an intense afternoon full of innovative ideas, the students of the Master Mba of 24 Hour Business School presented in Illva Saronno Holding their projects focused on sustainability, demonstrating a deep understanding of the company’s values and objectives. Each proposal was an inspiration and a confirmation of the potential of these young talents, their strong environmental awareness and constant aptitude for finding practical solutions to increasingly topical challenges.

June also saw the start of a new collaboration with students from the Food Science and Technology course at the Università degli Studi di Milano (University of Milan), who had the opportunity to visit Illva Saronno Holding’s headquarters, with a special focus on the Illva Saronno Flavours Division and our Innovation Center.
During the visit, we illustrated the processes that we have optimised over the years to attain and guarantee high standards of quality, starting from the selection of raw materials used for Illva Saronno Holding’s products. We hope that this marks the start of a collaboration with the Università degli Studi di Milano (University of Milan) to identify new opportunities for waste utilisation, more specifically as regards the use of the secondary products generated by our extraction processes.

The aim of this collaboration with the Università degli Studi di Milano (University of Milan) is a confirmation of ILLVA’s Future’s purpose: to work together with young talents to build a real sustainable future for all the resources involved, imagining positive and concrete job prospects in Illva Saronno Holding companies.
